Fees and Scholarships
For 2009-2010 academic year:
Students pay University tuition fees according to their family income. There are 10 different income classes and fees range range from 794 to 3,270 per year.
For 2010-2011 academic year:
Bachelor of Science programmes: regular fees for EU and Non-EU students applying to a Bachelor of Science programme offered by the Schools of Engineering, Architecture and Design, are based on students family income and range from about 800 to 3,300 per year.
Master of Science programmes:
- For EU Students regular fees for Master of Science programmes offered by the Schools of Engineering, Architecture and Design, are based on students family income and range from about 800 to 3,300 per year.
- For Non-EU students regular fees for Master of Science programmes are equal to 3,300 per year.
Specializing Masters are more expensive.
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS
Every year there is the opportunity to request consideration for specific scholarships offered to international students.
Students obtaining a scholarship will have to pay only a nominal tuition fee for a maximum of 144.00.
Scholarships for Master of Science Programmes available for the year 2009/2010
Thanks to the cooperation with public and private partners, for the incoming year 2009/10 all the international students applying to one of our Master of Science courses taught in English, will be considered for merit based scholarships.Scholarships for programme held in Piacenza campus taught in English
- Architecture
>>> Politecnico di Milano and Associazione Polipiacenza Scholarships
- 10 scholarships of 5,000 offered by the Politecnico di Milano and Associazione Polipiacenza will be assigned to foreign students admitted for the academic year 2009/10 to the Master of Science programme in Architecture taught in English language at Politecnico on Piacenza campus
- 10 scholarships of 3,000 to cover accommodation costs in a double room at Collegio Morigi in Piacenza, offered by the Politecnico di Milano and Associazione Polipiacenza will be assigned to foreign students admitted for the academic year 2009/10 to the Master of Science programme in Architecture taught in English language at Politecnico on Piacenza campus.

All international students who fill-in the on-line application form
and deliver the required documentation to the International Admission Office within the deadline, will automatically be considered for purely merit-based scholarship that covers both tuition fee and accommodation. Students obtaining a scholarship will have to pay only a nominal tuition for a maximum of 144.00 .
Scholarships for PhD Programmes
In 2007, 26 scholarships of 10.561,54 (gross amount) were reserved to foreign students applying to the selected PhD programmes. Furthermore, international students could apply for other scholarships of the same amount, attending the oral and written tests together with Italian students
