Italian courses The Politecnico di Milano offers Italian language courses free of charge to its international students.
Language courses are organized in Leonardo and Bovisa Campuses in both semesters (from October to December and from March to June).
Various levels are offered: beginners, intermediate and advanced. Classes are about 40/60 hours per course (twice or three times a week, usually late in the afternoon). In order to attend the courses, students have to register on line. Registrations are usually open in September for the first semester courses and between January and February for the second semester courses. Students are asked to participate to an admission test in order to define their level of competence in Italian Language and to be placed at the right level.

Italian language courses for international students are organized also in Como, Lecco e Mantova campuses.
A free of charge intensive Italian language course is usually offered in Como campus in the first two weeks of September. Students are usually asked to apply between mid-June and mid-July. Various levels are offered: elementary, pre-intermediate and intermediate.
Classes are about 50 hours per course (from Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day). Integrative activities are also offered.
A maximum of 60/65 students (Erasmus students and students taking part in other exchange programs at the Politecnico di Milano) are admitted.
